Mail Delivery PNG Image

Blogger has its own Subscription named Follow by Email. If someone subscribes his email from this option he will receive an email whenever you publish new post. But if you wanna deliver your posts to someone who are not subscribed to your blog then what? Read more to know.

You can send your blog updates to people who are not subscribed. But this option will allow you to deliver newsletter at best 10 persons. Google will deliver the new blog posts  to the selected persons.

Intermediate users of blogger blog might be familiar with this option. But beginner might not be familiar with this. Or they may be confused with this option. So I'm gonna clarify it.

You don't need to add any gadget to do this. All you need to do is just mention the email of those people from the settings option. And any time you can remove or change those email addresses.

Hope you're signed in to your blogger account. Let's start:
  1. Go to the Design or Dashboard
  2. Move to the Settings option.
  3. Select Mobile and email.
  4. Look at the Email Posts to box. Just below of this box- Choose from contacts- hit on it.
  5. A new window will appear with your Gmail Contacts. Choose Email addresses (10 or less).
  6. If you don't have an address in your contact list then you can type it in the box.
  7. Finally, hit on the Save Settings. Done!

Select people to send new blog posts

If you wanna stop this service then hit on the Remove button under the Email posts box. And if you wanna stop sending mail to a specific address then manually delete it from the box.

If you would like to let your visitors to subscribe to your blog for free newsletters then you can simply add a gadget from layout option. Follow the instruction below:
  1. Go to the Settings option.
  2. Move to the Layout.
  3. Hit on Add a Gadget from anywhere you wanna place this. I recommend to place it at the top right or at the bottom.
  4. Choose Follow by Email.
  5. Now you can change the Gadget name if you need.
  6. Make sure feed URL is there. Otherwise you've to create feed address by yourself.
  7. Save it.

Twitter Birds PNG Logo

Social sharing options are great tools to spread your web contents throughout the world. There are many powerful social sites like Facebook, Google, Twitter etc. These sites have their own social sharing buttons. Today I will talk about Twitter Buttons

In this post you're getting two buttons. The first one is Tweet button which you can use for sharing on Twitter. And the 2nd one is Twitter Follow button. But if you want you can use the two buttons in a single gadget! View the demo below:

Look at the codes below. There are two codes. The first one is tweet button. And the second one is Follow button. If you wanna use both the two then copy and paste these codes into your HTML. You can place them separately or combined as your wish.

<a class='twitter-share-button' data-size='large' data-url='http://munnamark.blogspot.com/' data-via='markspcsolution' href='https://twitter.com/share'>Tweet</a>
<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=&quot;//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js&quot;;fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,&quot;script&quot;,&quot;twitter-wjs&quot;);</script>

<a href="https://twitter.com/markspcsolution" class="twitter-follow-button" data-show-count="true" data-size="large">Follow @markspcsolution</a>
<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script>

Installing Codes on Blogger:

Blogger > Layout > Add a Gadget > HTML/ JavaScript > Copy and paste the above code(s) > Save > View your blog.

Remember: Notice the red parts of the codes. Replace the URL and twitter username which are marked in the code.

For other websites, you need to copy and paste the above codes in appropriate place. But try to keep this code at the bottom for fast loading of your page.

You can also customize your buttons directly from twitter

Tips: Always try to place java codes at the end of your site. It will help to load your page faster.

How to Create Menu or Tabs in Blogger Blog?

I'm gonna post a new topic after a long break. I'm very sorry for those people are looking for new topics. Actually I was not getting new ideas. If someone is looking for a specific content then he might use this option to inform Marks PC Solution.

OK let's start our today's concern. This post is specially helpful for blogger users who are trying to set Tabs in their blogs. And many of you may not know that there are two ways for creating tabs. I'm gonna discuss about both the methods one by one.

Tips for Blogger

Method 1:
This system is powered by blogger itself. This system allows you to create stand alone pages in your blog. Stand alone means you can only post a single topic in this page. For example, Contact Us or Report Us etc. This system may be less popular but still useful for creating a single but important post.

To add Tabs in this system follow the instructions below:
  1. Sign in to your blogger dashboard.
  2. Now click on the Pages button from the left panel.
  3. If you didn't create any pages earlier then you will see only Home button.
  4. Look at the option Show pages as- Choose Top Tabs.
  5. Click on the New Page button to create a new page and choose Blank Page.
  6. You can arrange the position of the pages by dragging them

Remember, when you click on Blank Page from the New Page option immediately it will take to a new page. You should give a name of the page here. You can also write the contents of that page from here or you can just save it and write the contents later.

Note: You can also add a web link in the tabs if you choose Web Address instead of Blank Page from the New Page option.

Method 2:
This system is somewhat complicated if you're new in blogging. But if you can do it then your blog will be just like a website! In this system your visitor will be able to find multiple posts under each tabs! You can do it just by placing the labels of your posts at the top. Follow the instructions below:
  1. Sign in to your blogger account.
  2. Now go to the Layout option from the left panel.
  3. Click Add a Gadget from the top. (Or you must drag and place it just below the Header)
  4. Choose Labels Gadget.
  5. Now click on Selected Labels from the show option and hit the edit button.
  6. Choose the labels from the box below. Never choose more than 8 or 9. Make sure that they can appear within a single line. Otherwise it may create a 2-line tab. That looks very odd.
  7. After selecting the labels hit on Done button and save the gadgets. Now view your blog.
You must remember:
  • Your posts should be labeled properly to appear in the proper tabs.
  • Labels gadget must be place under the header of the blog.
